Update:Behind the Scenes

Hi Everyone,

I have been working a little behind the scenes here on your friendly neighborhood Feminization Art Blog. Here are the project updates. Martin Hastings' Pheobe is done, I'm just waiting for Rikkis information for the profile.

I have been doing a series of sample sketches for a possible pulp feminization novel with a great author in the genre.

I have been working on an off on project with Valerie. I'm excited for it. I hope everyone got a chance to read her wonderful stories on Fictionmania.

I'm going to start adding profile picture to the author's stories very soon here on the blog.

I got a story from a new writer, Brenda. She did Sissy Steve and Me .

And finally I started on that illustration to Priscilla's Subjegated Step Sissy that got a lot of request (I know, I'm terrible), thanks for being patient on that one. Thank you for all the wonderful comments I got for Makeover at the Mansion tittle banner.

Also, please don't forget I added Man Dating Ch. 9 to the blog for all you to enjoy Tuck's latest adventure into femininity.

Makeover at the Mansion and Pheobe

Thanks to those that sent their well wishes while I recovered from my back pain. Last week I finished up a review for Kylie Gable's Calendar Girl, which I got a good response from readers and Kylie herself.

I have a banner that I'm working for Priscilla's Makeover at the Mansion which was approved and I should have it out this Wednesday or sooner.

Lastly Pheobe's character profile got delayed a bit because of Monday's injury, but I sent out the completed drawing to Rikki which she hasn't replied back yet.

Look to new content on the blog this week. Thanks again!

Kylie Gable's Calendar Girl Review

"Brandi" (Brandon) being prepared for his Valentine Day photo shoot.

Where do we begin? Its been a little while since a review took place on the blog, but I recently made some time to read and review Kylie Gable’s Calendar Girl. An entry into what I’m dubbing her Du Pont College series (a collection of stories that take place on the fictional college).

The book deals with Jennifer’s fundraising efforts for her sorority Delta Theta, (the sorority mentioned in Boys of Alpha The Nu book). Delta Theta member, Jennifer has been hounded by an annoyingly persistent guy named Brandon since arriving at Du Pont, if that wasn’t enough for her she has the stress of overseeing a fundraiser for her organization. Enter the Delta Theta, Jennifer and her sorority sisters learn that a pin-up calendar produced by the organization which was started back to the 1940’s will be used to help raise money for their organization and other charity groups, however they are surprised to find that the sorority has been turning deserving boys into the annual calendar girl since the 1960’s.With the stress of raising the funds for a local women’s shelter as well as not wanting to let their big sisters down, Jennifer realizes the perfect candidate to transforming into a cute femboy is the same persistent guy that has been  trying to get into her panties!

After my enjoyment of Gable’s and Acosta’s The Boys of Alpha The Nu book, I was very much looking forward to this short story taking place in the same Du Pont College. Although Claudia Acosta is absent, the story doesn’t really suffer at all. Instead Gable decides to tell the story from the point of view of Jennifer and the rest of girls from Delta Theta. That is one of the major strengths of this story. Much like The Alpha Theta Nu story, Gable’s again writes a very well laid out trap for the guy. However this time the trap feels smoother and entraps Brandon so well that very little physical force is needed to subdue him.

“Can’t you just picture all those guys buying the calendar and taking it home to masturbate to you? Oh Miss January, they’ll moan as they rub one out”

Dialogue is tight and solid. Zero complains! This is a Kylie Gable story right? Did you expect anything less?

Although this book is shorter and is nowhere near ambitious as the Welcome to College series or The Alpha Theta Nu series, Calendar Girl gets a few thing right that Gable’s previous other books lack. Calendar Girl is sharp and focused. There is no fluff, like a an unnecessary dance to Madonna’s Like a Virgin dance nor does it drag on Like Welcome to College did. I’m also happy to see it offers its readers a slightly better ending than the Alpha series.

The outfits and overall style that is applied to make Brandon into Brandi is cute, but nothing you haven’t read about before. The girls have Brandi in a range of outfits from sophisticated to a cute demure college girl of preparing Brandi for her first modeling job. Aside from an a sexy outfit chosen for the month of February shoot, there really isn’t anything that stands out unless you are a fan of Wonder Woman. An opportunity for the author to really cut loose on outfits during the pin-up shoot was slight lost. Gable never obsesses over the feel or the appearance of the dresses she has her male characters wear like other authors do, but it could have benefited this story had she slowed down a little to describe her outfits more since the majority of the story is a build up to a photo shoot.

The erotic and feminization scenes are well presented, but they can’t match up to the same creativity found in The Boys of Alpha Theta Nu. One of the probable reason’s is the length of the story and although it is “milder” than the Alpha Theta Nu, it has a few scenes that will have you making sure you have enough privacy in your room to fully enjoy it… This story may have the best bed bondage scene I have read in a long time. One of the most erotically humiliating aspects of this book is not what they do to Brandon, but what they don’t let him do. Being blindfolded while a coed might be changing in front of him and seeing his former girlfriend go on a date with another guy dressed as demure school girl and unable to prevent it a  Like the bed trying scene!   There are a few clichés in the story, but Gable knows when to use them.
Trying to read this story with one hand will be a little hard…if you know what I mean.

Fortunately, Gable offers readers the ability to listen to the story via Marami Hung's (an erotic voice actress) narration of the story. Its hard for me to review it, because I can’t compare it to anything else. I will say it is an innovation and Gable should be praised for taking the extra step to allow a new way of enjoying a solid story. To be fair, Hung’s voice is pretty sexy and you catch certain things that you may have missed when reading it.

Great story! A worthy addition to your library of feminization literature.

Working on project with Valerie

Hi everyone,

As you might have seen, I have been away for a little while. I have been in front of my desk drawing a series of illustrations for Valerie. Me and her are working on small project which we will bring to Kindle.

I'll let everyone know how that goes, but we are moving in the right direction and things are getting productive.
